Tiffany is a Lactation Care Provider and an intern in lactation medicine at the International Breastfeeding Centre / Newman Breastfeeding Clinic and is nearing completion of her training to become an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).  She has supported mothers in overcoming many breastfeeding challenges including:


  • Basic breastfeeding technique and management
  • Low milk supply and flow
  • Nipple and breast pain
  • Infants with anatomical challenges such as tongue tie and cleft palate
  • Twins and more
  • Premature infants
  • Blocked ducts and mastitis
  • Breast infections and abscesses
  • Weight concerns
  • Gassy baby
  • Colic
  • Overactive let-down and oversupply
  • Infants with neurological disorders such as Downs syndrome
  • Breast surgeries
  • Prenatal consultations

Appointments can take place before and/or after baby has been born, at the hospital or in your home.  During an appointment we will take a detailed history of your birth and breastfeeding experience, asses your latch and milk transfer, and evaluate any problems.  We will work with you to brainstorm a plan to improve your breastfeeding experience. Appointments usually last from 1 to 2 hours.
