 Danielle Holdsworth
I am a DONA trained birth doula servicing London Ontario and its surrounding communities. My background is in kinesiology, psychology and education. I am also an IBWP trained childbirth educator. I have experience in both hospital and home births, Obstetrical and Midwifery care. I became a doula following the birth of my first child. Birth for us was such a magical and empowering experience! I want to bring this sense of empowerment, confidence, and accomplishment to other expectant moms and their families. Danielle provided us with excellent support during the labour and birth of our first child, Finn. I had hoped to have a natural labour with no medical interventions. Danielle made this goal a reality. If she had not been there supporting me with encouragement and hands-on care, I know I would have lost the focus necessary to breathe through each contraction. She helped my husband to provide me with effective support and remain calm. She was also an excellent resource both before and after the birth. .jpg) Tiffany Holdsworth-Taylor I am a certified doula with DONA International currently living in North York, Toronto. I have a background in medical research including projects in diabetes and Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Birth related research includes evaluating the safety of freestanding birth centers and the portrayal of childbirth on the internet. I am currently a student of Lactation Medicine and pursuing IBCLC certification at the Newman Institute and International Breastfeeding Centre. I became a doula following the birth of my nephew and a personal negative hospital experience. Since this time I have become passionate about creating the best possible patient experience and strongly believe in informed choice. I am committed to making birth a positive experience for women and their families. Thank you so much for everything - you really helped make the delivery something I am proud of. I feel the birth with a doula like Tiffany was much more fulfilling. Although it didn't go as I had planned, I was extremely happy with the outcome.
